Cylinder Head Temperature Gauges

Cylinder Head Temperature Gauges are an easy way to detect overheating faults, on air cooled 2-Stroke engines. The CHT informs as to whether or not cooling is functioning, or if overheating is occurring due to leaning of the fuel mixture and also the differences between the temperatures of the two cylinders. Therefore a CHT could save you paying out for an engine rebuild as problems can be detected early.

Sport Aircraft CHT (Limited Stock) The following CHT gauges have been specifically designed for use on sport aircraft with a heavy duty, vibration and shock resistant, jeweled mechanism. The gauge is also temperature compensated so that changes in ambient air temperature will not affect the gauge display. The sender is made from a high grade type E Chromel/Constantan material. The gauges, senders and extension cables all have to be purchased together initially, as they are not compatible with any other make, but accessories or replacement parts can be bought seperately.
